Strandings

In May 2016 I organised a training workshop with the British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BMDLR) at Swansea University. The BDMLR is an organisation dedicated to the rescue and well-being of marine animals in distress around the UK. Since 2016, I have been qualified as a Marine Mammal Medic and as such voluntarily respond to call outs of wildlife on our coasts. I work alongside other organisations such as the Cetacean Strandings Investigation Programme (CSIP) and the Welsh Marine Life Rescue (WMLR) to rescue stranded wildlife or collect dead animals for post-mortem examination.
